Vine Ventures Celebrates 710 Academy Milestone with First Graduate and 2025 Cohort Expansion
Vancouver, BC – July 10, 2025 — Vine Ventures Corporation, an international venture capital and advisory firm headquartered in Vancouver, proudly celebrates a key milestone for its flagship development program, 710 Academy. Designed to equip entrepreneurs and professionals with real-world venture capital expertise, the Academy has graduated its first participant, Tim Yau, P.Eng, and welcomed a new 2025 cohort featuring David Liang, Calvin Wahyudi, and Enrico Fioretti.
Founded and led by Evelyn Y.K. Lee, Vine Ventures' Managing Partner, the 710 Academy is a transformative initiative focused on building practical business and investment acumen. Participants receive hands-on training in deal sourcing, due diligence, and strategic relationship building, preparing them to excel in venture capital and entrepreneurship.
“Tim’s success reflects the caliber of leadership we’re cultivating at 710 Academy,” said Evelyn Lee. “Our goal is to invest in people as much as in ventures—empowering talent to lead with strategy, global awareness, and impact.”
As an Associate at Vine Ventures, Tim Yau leveraged the Academy's immersive curriculum to strengthen his skills in investment analysis and cross-border engagement, including representing Vine at CES 2024 and the Pacific Northwest Keiretsu Forum. His contributions demonstrate the value of bridging tactical training with global exposure.
The 710 Academy now supports dual pathways: one tailored to entrepreneurs looking to launch or scale startups, and another for professionals seeking deep venture capital experience. This dual-track model reflects Vine Ventures' broader mission to support inclusive innovation ecosystems and foster future-ready leadership.
